Vanishing Edge by Claire Kells I think this is the first book in a new mystery series, and I plan on reading at least the next one. Also, on apartments.com, I found a few listings that just said they had a bunch of listings in a certain city/area and then they had a phone number. When I called, it turned out they were services that, for $60-90 would find what you're looking for and help you get it (and, if there's an application fee, it gets waived for going through these particular people).
