Kairos: A rhetorical term referring to the context of a speech and how the context for communication constrains ones speech

Today in sacrament meeting one of the speakers was talking about the law of chastity. He repeatedly (and loudly) reminded us that the Lord's definition of chastity is that we are to have "no sexual relations with anyone other than our spouse". I wonder how many kids went home and asked their parents what "sexual relations" are.

Merciful heavens. Some people should never be allowed out in public, and certainly not speaking to large groups in public.

On the other hand, who better than their parents to ask this question of?? Could you feel the cringing in the atmosphere?

What's wrong with asking about sexual relations? Good for that guy.
What's wrong? They involve parts of the human body which, practical as they may be, are evil.

Goodness, Master FOB, you don't really want me to get going on the Our Wonderful Bodies mom-chat do you?? Ask FoxyJ (or any number of former fourth graders in Maryland) how annoying it is to have YOUR MOM going on and on about THAT.
